Leading regional award-winning law firm RRP Associates has given its active support to a group of locally unemployed people by helping them to become more proficient in a variety of interview situations.<\/p>\n
Teaming up with ASC Employment Training and Mentoring Services, RRP Associates joined a team of other high profile local businesses and organisations for a two hour mock interview activity with a selected group of unemployed people at the UK Carnival Arts Centre.<\/p>\n
Charlie Beattie<\/strong>, RRP Associates Marketing Coordinator says \u201cSeveral local big businesses like RRP Associates sent members of staff to assist the ASC Employment Training and Mentoring Services personnel as Interviewers. I honestly couldn\u2019t understand why many of the people we met were struggling to find work as they were so bright and enthusiastic. It was great to be able to give them some training in interview techniques so that they left us feeling better prepared and their confidence had been given a much needed boost.\u201d<\/p>\n Sandie Copp<\/strong>, Director and Employer Liaison Co-ordinator for ASC says \u201cI am involved in several local employability training skills programmes and I organise this \u201cspeed-dating\u201d style of mock interview activity for groups of people within London , Dunstable and the surrounding area. We provide all the interview paperwork including questions, CV\u2019s and the participant\u2019s own choice of job description.<\/p>\n \u201cMy co-Director Adriana Lokman and I are extremely grateful to the companies who gave their time and resources during this activity as well as those guest speakers who offered advice and guidance throughout the programme.<\/p>\n \u201cOur candidates really appreciated\u00a0the contribution of companies such as RRP Associates and their feedback was extremely positive when they shared their experiences with us the following week.
